Palm Pizza has absolutely won me over. Grabbed the Uber Eats pickup deal, a slice of cheese and a side salad, and honestly was not prepared for how good it was going to be. Let’s start with the Caesar salad. I don’t throw this around lightly, but it’s one of the best I’ve had in Austin, maybe in all of Texas. Fresh, well-dressed, just excellent. Then the pizza. That New York style slice is the real deal, perfect undercarriage, great cheese pull, solid crust. And don’t sleep on the ranch. The dill they mix in puts it over the top. Palm Pizza, I’ll be back.

I’m someone who loves pizza and a salad. Unfortunately, I cant just pop in by myself to get that little combo bc they only have pricey gigantic salads. Would be great if there was a half size for like $8-10. Then I might come back to grab that and a slice. Also, last visit I went with my partner and had weird service. Idk if I was gaslit lol. I ordered a salad and sub for myself. My partner ordered two slices of pizza. My salad and sub came out. Waited literally 30m for the two slices of pizza. So my partner pretty much watched me eat for half an hour. When I inquired about the pizza slices for my partner, the server said “yeah the chefs do that intentionally so you can enjoy the salad and sandwich first”. Who splits a sandwich before sharing a slice of pizza? Clearly they were running way behind and just acknowledgement (maybe an apology) would have been enough. Instead I was annoyed and felt crazy. Regarding the meatball sub - the bread was super hard like cut the top of your mouth hard. Meatball was super tender but lacked ?herbs.

Decent pizza, but definitely on the pricier side. Paying $35 for 6 slices (there were 3 of us so we each got 2 slices) was a little painful. Crust is thin and crispy. Personally I felt like there could have been more cheese on the pizza.

I came here for the sub and was disappointed. Last night, I got a slice of the Palm and their Italian hero sub - The pizza was pricey, but good - had a solid crust and all the toppings tasted great, but for 5.75 a slice, it felt expensive. I had heard recommendations about their sub and was really interested to try it, but for $24, it fell short. The bread was hard and chewy, maybe it was old, but it made chewing difficult and for the price, it should have been fresh. The sub itself was huge, but layered in a way where you couldn't really get all the ingredients in one bite - the meat was all on one side and the veggie toppings took up 2/3 of the sub, meaning some bites were just that - what they really should have done here is layer the meat across the sub and then added the toppings throughout so that each bit was even. I love sandwiches and heard this place could rival Homeslice's sub, but this felt like a lazy attempt. As for the ambience, the ordering area felt like it didn't have AC running. The water they had available was warm and there weren't any (or if there were some, I couldn't notice it) fans in their outdoor seating and that also felt like a miss for a business op

We opted for a whole pepperoni pizza for two people, and I love that it came with fresh basil and shaved parmesan! The pizza was delicious, I just wish the crust had been softer. It’s a pretty crispy and thin crust. The whole pizza could easily feed three people - we ended up taking the last few slices to go. I think a salad and 1-2 slices each would be enough for two people. Don’t sleep on the salted dark chocolate chip cookie because holy cow it’s delectable. I’ll definitely be back to try the Palm next!

Excellent! Our new fav pizza! Cute place, super delish pizza & salad and they even have single slices, which we love. Also great covered outdoor seating and the girl working today Sun 9/8 was super adorable, friendly & helpful! Highest recommendation.

Update- The outside area is exactly what this place needed before. That, and a a chance ti find their stride. Other changes: The music was still punk but… happier/ more upbeat punk? And now you can simply walk in and order. Everything feels like it is starting to click into place here. This is a great spot for a first dinner date so long as the weather holds. They have space heaters, but barely. I can imagine during Texas summers it will be very hot out there as well. The vibe was impeccable as was the pizza. It seems to be doing a perfect pace of business for itself at the moment. The right number of customers to keep them constantly busy but no one waits too long. A wonderful “neighborhood” hidden gem is forming. Orig. post: I lived in NYC and I love pizza. This is a sweet little neighborhood pizza joint that happens to use all top quality ingredients and be run by one of the top restaurant groups (that also is female owned!) in Austin. The flavors were solid. We had the salad, a cheese pizza, and a pepperoni pizza. Palm’s pizza game is strong, good toppings and good dough! Carry out only for the moment, smells so good inside and super friendly staff. Great addition to the neighborhood! Pro tip: get the Palm Pizza, the stracciatella cheese on top is really nice and comes on the side so it stays cold.
